Just making sure that doesn't get lost in the shuffle - it's already buried. Cats look like a playoff team this year with the way Jefferson has come on. Playoff team in East isn't a high bar to cross, but it'll be good to get some experience if they make it. Trick is to try to get up to the 6 seed and avoid Indiana or Miami.

I just checked the playoff standings, and Toronto is the three seed, with a 29-25 record. I knew the conference was bad, but holy hell, the Raptors are your three seed? Only four teams in the entire conference are above .500, and it would probably be much worse were it not for the fact that eastern conference teams play eastern conference teams more than west teams.

Anyway, great game for Kemba - any idea what is previous high was for assists? Can't imagine it was more than 12 or so.

As an aside, Jeff played only 3 minutes, but got 3 boards and a block.

Minutes are much harder to come by now that Al Jefferson is actually healthy and essentially their only scoring option down low, but he has carved out a nice reputation as a real good defensive big man. Not bad for a guy who from a purely physical standpoint, shouldn't be an NBA PF.

The fact that Adrien is even in the NBA, let alone getting some PT is a testament to how freakin badass this guy was/is. He's a 6-5 PF!

Toronto has actually built a very solid team, I think they absolutely have potential to give teams headaches in the playoffs. Kyrie may get on SportsCenter but Lowry has been far and away the best PG in the East (insane he was left off the All-Star team)

Back to Kemba, I think this was far and away his best stat line as a pro. He has scored in the mid 30's before but the ability to use Big Al down low gives Charlotte a lethal two man attack. I would personally love to see Charlotte take the 7 seed and play the ultimate David/Goliath series vs Miami. Considering Charlotte's two best players would matchup with Miami's two more flawed positions (PG and C) this could be a lot of fun to watch. If you're gonna sneak into the playoffs, might as well take a few swings at the two-time champs and avoid an NBA-TV series

I admit that I thought he was too small to play PF in the NBA. Very happy for Jeff who has the heart of a warrior.

He looked bigger than that on that block

Amazing thing is that he really isn't playing PF in the NBA (at least with Charlotte). He's playing the 5. A couple times this season he has supplanted Biyombo as Jefferson's backup (or played minutes there when Jefferson was hurt). McRoberts and Zeller have taken basically all the PF minutes in the high post in their system (don't think either has been hurt).
