I am starting to think Kemba could one day be enshrined in the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame. Nice credentials thus far:

I certainly wouldnt bet against him.

He’s made the playoffs once, maybe twice? Has he even won a playoff game? Chill out Peter Pan.

If he can play the next 6-8 years at the same high level that he has been, then he absolutely makes the case for himself.

He deserves to get in on his college career alone.

The basketball HOF is all of basketball, not just pro (hence why Calhoun and Geno are both in)
Calhoun and Geno had decades of accomplishments, so it’s not an apples-to-apples comparison. Laettner would be in the Hall if we were going by just college careers.

But Kemba has quietly turned himself into a HOF-caliber NBA player. The Hornets should looks to blow this thing up soon, so hopefully Kemba gets traded to or signs his next contract with a franchise that will allow people to realize how good he’s gotten.

Laettner is in the Hall of Fame.

Lakers need to drop Lonzo and bring in Kemba. That’d be fun.

He’s put up 20ppg for 3 straight years and is over 18 and 5 for for a 7 year career. I think most remarkable is his almost 3:1 assist:TO ratio as a guy who has been the primary ball handler for bad teams. That’s crazy. Not to mention my great dog shares his name.

After Sherman passed away we adopted Bella. The summer before UConn won the National Championship she met the whole team at the Husky run. Phil Nolan loved Bella. Phil was like "We are winning the title for you Bella". :) Now 4 years later at Elizabeth Park.

Sorry to go a little off topic.

It is the BASKETBALL Hall of Fame, not the NBA Hall of Fame. And, I said "could" meaning he is on track to be worthy of consideration. Thats all.

Then I'd have to root for the Lakers? And LeBron on top of that? That would absolutely blow.

Has he even made an all nba team? I can’t tell if you’re joking or not with the HOF stuff.

I am 100% serious that if Kemba keeps playing well he is worthy of Hall of Fame consideration. Not a lock, but certainly worthy of consideration. Rebecca Lobo is in, and his resume is already at least as impressive as hers. He holds the Hornets all time team records for points scored, 3 point field goals made and free throws made, and he is only about halfway through his NBA career provided he stays healthy.
