That’s different at .5 there’s no time for a second passAsk Jim Calhoun if he shoudve guarded laettner on inbounds in 1990.

If they guarded Laettner, Duke would have went with their 1st option - A pass down low for a dunk. Sellers couldn't jump and Burrell fouled out so they needed to hedge low to protect for that pass. So instead of a dunk they had a double-pump 18 footer with a guy running at him. He made a tough shot..Ask Jim Calhoun if he shoudve guarded laettner on inbounds in 1990.
True enough, but you take your chance with Alaa Abdelnaby vs arguably a top 10 ever college player that's made many a big shotIf they guarded Laettner, Duke would have went with their 1st option - A pass down low for a dunk. If that was the case, why didn't the great Coach K make Laettner the first option?True enough, but you take your chance with Alaa Abdelnaby vs arguably a top 10 ever college player that's made many a big shot

There are quite a few players better than Embiidtatum, brown & smart need to shake off the toxic irving
c’mon man, they beat my sixers. embiid is better than any player except maybe the brow
I think what Stevens was trying to avoid with man-to-man was a bunch of picks which would have freed someone up for an even easier shot than they got. Credit to Lowry for executing a perfect pass over Fall and Anunoby for a tough shot at the buzzer (he kind of went off 1 foot and made it look strange). It's the NBA, the best basketball players in the world, it happens sometimes.Overall a lack of communication by the Celts. The Globe said they were in a zone which I don't understand and Smart was calling for Brown to cover the corner, but somewhere this fell apart as Brown was too late. IMO a man to man would have been a better call at that point. But give Toronto credit, great pass and adjustment by Toronto.
You're proving my point, this is the guy that designed the Trajan Langdon play.If that was the case, why didn't the great Coach K make Laettner the first option?
No way. Davis is up there, but those two aren't the two best in the NBA.yes
2 full seconds more than Toronto had. Not the same thing.Ask Jim Calhoun if he shoudve guarded laettner on inbounds in 1990.
The play took me right back to that...poor McGee - he was a good player and that's what he's known forFor a second, I thought he was about to break McGhee's ankles....
Ok smart guy, but he wasn't known as the money time shooter at the time he was inbounding the ball. That's pure redboarding. You're proving my point, this is the guy that designed the Trajan Langdon play.
Hate to say it even more...but yeah. Can't stand him but respect the he!! out of his game...Hate to say it. Hes minimum top 5 college player.
