If Napier pulled a Rosoe or Oriakhi and abanonded ship, the transition between Calhoun to Ollie could have been a disaster, and could have really added to the "UConn is finished" narrative that you were beginning to hear from some wishful thinkers. Napier's commitment to the program has really helped the transition by providing stability and given Ollie some time to reload the program without the "UConn is finished" narrative ever getting a chance to take shape.
