An interesting read, complimentary in places, critical in others. It'll be a big year for him to assert his status as Charlotte's point guard for the future. He made a ton of strides the second half of last year as a passer, developing great chemistry with Al Jeff - but his shot failed him as his passing improved. If he puts it all together, he could pass some folks and be a top 10 type PG who Charlotte will pay to keep.

He played as well as you'll see someone play while getting swept this past post season.

Point guard is such a deep position in the NBA, though. I dont think Kemba can be top 10 with so many better players ahead of him. His size also limits his potential.

Lowe is the best NBA writer on the planet (he knows every team, personnel- and salary-wise, so his analysis of every team/player takes into account the league as a whole; it's remarkable) so it comes as no surprise that this was extremely informative. The one thing he didn't mention in an otherwise fair piece is that Kemba's development -- and numbers -- were hampered by injuries last year. He was healthy in the playoffs and it showed.
