Kemba’s First Game v Philly

the match-ups in this game are going to be insane. the smallest guy philly will start is 6'6" josh richardson -- after that are 6'8" tobias harris and 6'10" ben simmons. depending on who the c's start (daniel theis? lob williams? enes kanter??) they may not have a guy taller than 6'9" on the floor.

despite a lifetime of rooting for ny teams, i am all-in on the celtics this year. i like their team, and i love our guy kemba.

The big X-Factors for the C's this year, other than obviously Hayward putting up All-Star numbers, will be how much Time Lord has grown from last year, and how much of a spark Carsen Edwards will be off the bench.

Everything else should fall into place for a successful season.

I think the sixers have the edge now, but the celtics can be the better team long term when they get more used to playing together and finding each others' spots.

I think the Sixers dont make any sense but obviously will win plenty of games. Starting 4 guys 6'10" and up and a 6'6" guy will make it hard to defend the other team's guards. Who defends Curry when they play GS? Just so strange to tie up so much money in 4 guys that tall who will likely play together.

Kemba will start on josh richardson. Theis will get the start and he will drag Joel away from the rim, because Theis can actually shoot. Losing Horford will forever haunt me, but losing viking Baynes will prove to be a really underrated loss. Can Timelord and Porier guard Joel? We will see tonight.

I also think that Carsen Edwards and his thighs will provide a ton of scoring off the bench, and that is where the Celtics will have to win this game. With their speed and their depth. We may see a lot of Grant Williams v Horford tonight. Basically the same player, so I am looking forward to that.

Hayward will also put the league on notice this year, I promise (doomed). I bleed blue and I bleed green. Kemba will finally get the chance to shine in a great organization!

Horford not being on the Celtics is gonna kill them this year. And they got rid of their big goon in Baynes

Yes Horford is a loss but they picked up Kanter don't forget. Hopefully the rookie Williams can give them some good minutes. Frontcourt is not ideal but barring injury Kemba will raise everybody's level of play. Excited for the opportunity he has in the prime of his career.

love kemba but sixers yo!!!
how many uconn fans love the celtics? the worst

Slightly off topic but PJ Washington looks like a PLAYER for Charlotte, just broke the rookie opening game record with 7 3s. Amazing that he slid all the way to #12 in the draft given how dominant he was towards the end of his collegiate career.

Not a great matchup for Kemba. 76ers got some trees and Thybulle. Their D is legit.

He missed a bunch of shots he'll make next game.

Shabazz also didn't shoot it well last night but had 7 assists in 21 minutes.

Currently 1-9 (0-3) with 4 points at the half vs the Raptors. He’s gotta get going at some point ...
