Satch was the eighth player drafted many years ago (1st round). He was a power forward for 13 years and played 916 games. He had three characteristics that mirror Kelly's qualities: He was a winner (eight NBA championships), he was durable (450 consecutive games), and he took on the tough task of defending the opponent's best forward, game after game. He averaged 9.6 ppg and 6.3 rpg and gave scorers like Elgin Baylor and Dave DeBusschere fits.
Some WNBA team will do something smart when it is their turn to draft. They will select Kelly. And they will get a winner. Just like Satch.
