Not to like? The fact that he sure seems to prefer those AZ Wildcats at this point.

We really don't know which way he's leaning but I wouldn't take that interview as a sign that he prefers AZ, that is an AZ website with a reporter asking questions focused around them.

DePaul has never played at the XL. Seton Hall hasn't played at the XL in a decade or so. USF played at the XL once. It was a good crowd considering it was a 6 PM game on New Year's Eve.

If you randomly pick out games vs. the lower rung old BE teams, the crowds at the XL are not that different than the crowds at Gampel. Just more seats to try and fill.

Even at Gampel, when we don't play Syracuse, Louisville, Pitt, or Georgetown there are lots of empty seats. Also only having one student section hurts. I'm not trying to knock UCONN fans, I am just saying schools like Kansas, Duke, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan State, Michigan that sell out every game, regardless of who they are playing.

His game seems awfully similar to rondae Hollis Jefferson. Don't see those two working very well together. The big 12 schools in the area worry me.

Lots of empty seats? I've never seem lots of empty seats for any of the above mentioned games at Gampel.

That's why I said when we dont play Syracuse, Louisville, Pitt, or Georgetown, i.e. South Florida, St. Johns, Seton Hall, Villanova, Rutgers, Depaul.

The point is I feel like our atmosphere could and should be a lot better. I think by adjust where students sit, and just having games at Gampel, would help and attract recuits becuase of the atmosphere.

Sorry, misread your comment.

Reminds me of a left handed version of Jeremy Lamb. Smooooooooooooth. Hope we land him.

Hearing this kid was the best at the weekend tourney his aau was at by a mile

Really? I love UCONN, but I feel like there is far superior atmospheres in college basketball. Have you ever been to the XL center when we play St. Johns, Seton Hall, South Florida, DePaul etc?

The way I took the term "playing atmosphere" wasn't merely arena and fans, but coaching leadership, practices, teammates/friendship etc, I could have been wrong in taking the term in that regards, but you could be wrong in taking it to literally mean arena and fans...

@Coast2CoastHoop: 2014 Houston Hoops SG Kelly Oubre lists Kansas, Georgetown, Arizona, UConn, Louisville, Florida, Alabama & Texas. @K_Ctmd22

We need Justise Winslow to go to Zona, that would probably help our chances

Agree, place is awful and we should play no more than 2 big games/year there and possibly 2 in Bridgeport.

Playing ECU in front of 7k listless fans is not an atmosphere

Scout is now reporting today that Kansas is recruiting him the hardest
