It's around this time every season that I bring up the BRATS system, first devised by HUSKY BLUE AND WHITE in the early nineties. It's a simple way to measure a player's floor game although in no way is it a totally accurate measurement. You add a players Blocks, Rebounds, Assists together, then deduct 2 times the Turnovers and add 2 times the steals. Double figures in BRATS indicate a strong game. Double figures is harder to achieve in BRATS than in scoring.
It's probably not surprising to see that Kelly leads all Huskies with 11.6 a game. She is the only one in double figures. Next comes Kaleena and Stef at 9.0; Stewie 8.4; Bria 7.3; Lefty 5.0; Morgan 4.4; Kiah 4.1; Caroline 3.7; Mo 2.9; and Heather 2.1
The five best individual scores were Kelly (Maryland) 30 ; Caroline (Oregon) 25 ; Kaleena (Charleston) 22 ; Stewie (Oakland) and Stef (Charleston) 19. And #6 was Bria (Oakland) 18.
