Is on ESPN2 now. She scored the first 9 points. A good chance to see her against quality competition.
#1What number is she?
Ashlynn and Morgan also have sufficient floor vision and skill to be backup point guards against most opponents. On defense against fast guards, KK and Kelis will have to carry the load, however.I have some high hopes for Kelis next season. As it stands we have one true point guard...KK.
There are others who can do point guard things...Azzie and Sarah for two. Those of you who have seen
the game Kelis just played in...a question. Does she look to have the strength/skills/maturity etc to be a true
back-up to KK? There should be ample opportunity to convince Geno she is ready during the blowout
conference games and if KK gets in foul trouble in any game given her frenetic defense.
UConn will be loaded again next year. KK is an upgrade on defense and Sarah will be a year older and a year stronger. Losing Paige obviously is going to leave a mark but Azzi is back and I expect her to take up where Paige left off this year. The question will be who will step in and make the second year move for them?Ashlynn and Morgan also have sufficient floor vision and skill to be backup point guards against most opponents. Azzi is great but Paige is a whole different level. She impacts the game like Jordan did. She isn't just great, she is incredible. Tjat said, the same teams that are in the FF this year may be next year. If JUJu is out next year maybe USC takes a step back.UConn will be loaded again next year.
