What’s the scouting report on her like? Is she fast? Strong driver? 3 Ball? IQ?
She strikes me as more like KK than Hidalgo or Kaleena Smith. She's taller than either of them at 5'9". She has good quickness, but maybe not quite as quick as they are. She seems to be a better finisher at the rim than KK and maybe a little better from the perimeter. I'm not sure what sort of defender, but overall I think she's a worthy successor to KK and Nika.

Yeah I looked through highlights and she’s definitely a 10x better finisher than KK was last season. Also seems very strong under the basket when she goes in for the drive, knows how to get to her spot and initiate contact.

To be fair, KK looked like a much better finisher in HS. It's just a lot harder to do at the rim in D1 when you're only 5'9". Here's an indicator: KK sometimes jumped for the opening tip in HS.

Her defense in the Chipotle Nationals was really good. She’s not afraid to battle in the paint against players (much) bigger than her.

Maybe Kelis can teach KK a few things about finishing. Kelis seems to know how to get into the body of her defender which keeps from getting blocked. She doesn't need KK's speed (although she is close to it) since she is more in control. KK is exceptionally fast and quick but sometimes gets out of control or get's blocked due to her inability to know where the defender is coming from.

Spotlight: Kelis Fisher a dynamic 5'9" Point Guard for IMG Academy /ISO World (Overtime Select), class of 2025, UConn commit, emerging as a dominant force in the Overtime Select league with her athletic prowess and multi-faceted offensive game.

Kelis Fisher's exceptional performances in the Overtime Select league showcase her ability to dominate as an athletic, downhill-attacking point guard with excellent court vision. Her impressive stat line of 32 points, 8 rebounds, and 8 assists over two games demonstrates her capacity to impact every facet of the game.

What sets Kelis apart is her combination of athleticism and skill. At 5'9", she possesses good size for a point guard, which, coupled with her strength and quickness, allows her to overpower smaller defenders and blow by larger ones. This physical advantage makes her a nightmare in transition and when attacking the basket in half-court sets.

Kelis' ability to score at all three levels keeps defenses guessing. Her proficiency in finishing through contact at the rim, pulling up in the mid-range, and knocking down three-pointers makes her nearly impossible to game plan against. This scoring threat, combined with her good passing vision, creates a pick-your-poison scenario for defenders – play her tight and risk her blowing by for a layup or assist, or give her space and allow her to knock down jumpers.

Her court vision and passing ability (8 assists in Overtime Select) elevate her game beyond just scoring. Kelis' threat as a scorer draws defensive attention, allowing her to find open teammates for easy baskets. This playmaking ability, coupled with her scoring prowess, makes her a true offensive catalyst.

Defensively, Kelis' athleticism shines through in her on-ball pressure and ability to generate steals. Her quickness allows her to stay in front of opposing guards, while her strength helps her fight through screens and contest shots.
