I loved the answer that one of the Huskies gave in the post game presser - they were asked about the new players who haven't been here that long regarding how emotional they got. The answer was something like "it's just a testament to this program and the players here - even new players come in and they are embraced and treated like family".
I know I am getting the words wrong, but that was the gist of what they were saying. Every year we seem to ask "is this the best chemistry a UConn team has ever had?" Hard to pick out the "best", but it is a testament to CD and the program and the kind of kids they recruit. Not just great hoopsters, but great people as well...

It's so refreshing. While some other programs also do this well, UConn does it best. I think it's the ultimate weapon against NIL raids.
it's also the reason I think Geno's and CD's replacements have to be UConn alumnae.
