Champ Week and March Madness is coming up. Here's a summary of how old Huskies are doing this year

Isaiah Abraham - Georgetown. 20.1 MPG, 5.2 PPG, 2.8 RPG, 0.7 APG shooting 40.2% FG, 35.2% 3P, 69.4% FT
  • Has hit a major sophomore slump as Georgetown is in freefall. Had a good game against Marquette a few weeks ago (13pts on 44%). But excluding that one, in his last 10 games he is averaging 2.2 points on 16% FG
  • Ed Cooley and Georgetown need a rapid and serious turnaround next season. If Abraham stays on the roster, it will most likely be in a reserve role with a reduction in minutes
Darius Adams - Maryland. 25.7 MPG, 10.6 PPG, 3.5 RPG, 1.6 APG shooting 34.4% FG, 24.6% 3P, 71.1% FT
  • Continues to have the ultimate green light and is not doing much with it. Last 5 games: 4.6 PPG, 2 RPG, 2.2 APG shooting 22.6% FG
  • Saw him play in person @ Rutgers a few weeks ago. Good at getting into the lane, not good at pretty much everything else
Corey Floyd Jr - Providence. 26.8 MPG, 8.2 PPG, 4.3 RPG, 2.6 APG shooting 44.1% FG, 38.0% 3P, 78.6% FT
  • Pretty unceremonious ending to Corey Floyd Jr's career. Maybe he does something big in the BET, but overall is just a decent role player for a bad team
Aidan Mahaney - UC Santa Barbara. 33.4 MPG, 15.1 PPG, 1.9 RPG, 2.7 APG shooting 44.5% FG, 39.5% 3P, 81.5% FT
  • Fighting for seeding in the Big West Tournament, Mahaney had a quiet last two games in two losses (11 PPG, but on 50%)
  • Has shown the scoring potential (20+ points in 8 games this year, one of them being 30) and is currently averaging career highs in PPG, APG, FG%, 3P%, FT%
  • UCSB has faltered down the stretch, losing 5 of their last 6 games. They go into the tournament as the 7 seed (out of 8 teams), so unfortunately we most likely won't be seeing Aidan in March Madness
Ahmad Nowell - VCU. 10.6 MPG, 4.8 PPG, 1.2 RPG, 0.7 APG shooting 44.6% FG, 41.1% 3P, 75.0% FT
  • Nowell is mostly out of the rotation. Has not played double digit minutes since February 6, 10 minutes in a 26 point win against Dayton
  • VCU is on an absolute heater, finishing 15-3 in the A10 (#2 seed) and winning 13 of their last 14 games
  • Safe to say that they've found something that works and will not be adjusting the rotation significantly. What's next for Nowell? Run it back at VCU or look for a 3rd team in 3 years?
Apostolos Roumoglou - Richmond. 15.4 MPG, 2.9 PPG, 3.3 RPG, 1.1 APG shooting 34.9% FG, 22.6% 3P, 66.7% FT
  • Rough season for AR, as he never really found his footing for the Spiders. Richmond is 11th in the A10, so his career is most likely over at this point
Youssouf Singare - High Point. 7.7 MPG, 1.4 PPG, 2.1 RPG, 0.2 BPG shooting 68.2% FG and 55.0% FT
  • High Point finished 15-1 in the Big South and is actually up double digits late in the title game as we speak. It's looking like they will go dancing
  • Singare played 18 minutes in the semifinals (0 points, 3 rebounds, 3 turnovers, 1 steal, 1 block). Fouled out in 9 minutes in the title game. Maybe we'll see him play in the tournament!
