I like keeping tabs on former UConn players to see how they're doing in their new spots. With Feast Week over, here's how everyone is doing so far

Isaiah Abraham - Georgetown. 17.9 MPG, 5.4 PPG, 3.3 RPG, 0.4 APG shooting 43.8% FG, 26.7% 3P, 75.0% FT
  • Abraham's season (and career) high came a little over a week ago against Wagner, with 12 points and 5 rebounds on 4-5 shooting
  • Has struggled against high major competition, 2.6 PPG on 30% against UMD/Clemson/Miami
  • Did not play much against Miami (11 minutes), not sure if he got hurt so we will see if his starting spot is secure long term
Darius Adams (does he count?) - Maryland. 28.9 MPG, 14.0 PPG, 4.0 RPG, 1.4 APG shooting 34.6% FG, 26.8% 3P, 78.3% FT
  • Definitely has a green light, averaging an inefficient 10 shots per game. For reference, only Solo Ball shoots more FGs per game at UConn than Adams shoots at UMD
  • Has scored in double digits in every game except 1 (Georgetown), with his season (and career) high coming in his latest game vs. #8 Alabama. 20 points on 7-17 FG and 5-7 3P, solid individual performance despite the big loss
  • Ultimately feels like the right move for both parties that he decommitted here. He gets the shots and in-the-fire development that he likely wanted, UConn gets their veteran backcourt. I'll be watching him closely over the years to see how he tightens up his efficiency
Corey Floyd Jr - Providence. 26.3 MPG, 11.1 PPG, 3.9 RPG, 2.1 APG shooting 45.8% FG, 36.4% 3P, 72.7% FT
  • Overall a pretty solid statline, although I feel like Providence fans expected more from their senior leader during a disappointing season
  • Season high 20 against Penn a few weeks ago, but also scored 12 against Florida on 50% shooting
Aidan Mahaney - UC Santa Barbara. 29.6 MPG, 12.5 PPG, 1.0 RPG, 2.6 APG shooting 42.0% FG, 39.0% 3P, 71.4% FT
  • Definitely more comfortable with a green light in his new offense, scoring double digits in all games except 2. 1 was a 30pt win where he scored 9, one he only played 5 minutes. Take out that game with 5 minutes and he's averaging 13.6 PPG. Scored 17 points in 3 games straight a few weeks ago
  • APG numbers are deflated by more recent games. He was averaging almost 4 a game through his first 5 games but only has 2 in his last 3 games combined
  • Overall seems like he will be trusted to take and make shots. Hoping he does that well for the rest of the year!
Ahmad Nowell - VCU. 14.1 MPG, 4.9 APG, 1.8 RPG, 1.0 APG shooting 37.5% FG, 31.6% 3P, 69.2% FT
  • Has played better in games where he gets 10+ minutes - 6.5 PPG on 41% FG. But barely played against NC St (2 minutes) and Virginia Tech (8 minutes). It's not just a power conference thing, because he had 25 minutes against ranked Vanderbilt (6pts/3reb/2stl on 40%)
  • Season (and career) high 12 points against Utah St in the second game of the season. Was 2-6 on FGs but got to the line a lot, making 7-8 FTs
  • Not sure yet what his role is going to be at VCU. Minutes are inconsistent and we'll see how it goes throughout the year. Nyk Lewis committing to the Rams late in the cycle definitely bumped Ahmad down the depth chart as Lewis is averaging 25 minutes a game
Apostolos Roumoglou - Richmond. 16.4 MPG, 4.0 PPG, 4.0 RPG, 0.7 APG shooting 39.3% FG, 19.0% 3P, 66.7% FT
  • In a reduced role for his second year at Richmond, averaging 16 minutes a game instead of the 26 he got last season
  • Started off rough shooting-wise (2-12 FG in his first 3 games), but has averaged 5.8 PPG on 56% FG in the 4 games since then
  • But overall Richmond is doing well at 6-1. They have an incredibly balanced minutes distribution with 11 players between 13 and 21 minutes per game (which is crazy but I don't know enough about them to tell you why). So Apostolos' role seems to be set
Youssouf Singare - High Point. 7.6 MPG, 2.3 PPG, 1.4 RPG, 0.3 BPG shooting 60.0% FG and 66.7% FT
  • Cash App's minutes have been wildly inconsistent. Barely any in the season opener vs. Furman, then double digits for 3 of the next 4 games, then 1-2 minutes in the last two games
  • Season (and career) high 10 points on a perfect 4-4 shooting a few weeks ago in a 75 point win (!!) against D3 Averett. 4 points and 3 rebounds in 16 minutes against Canisius
  • My guess is Youssouf will not get too many minutes moving forward as the Panthers seem to prefer a smaller lineup. All four of their non-guards that get double digit minutes are 6'6 - 6'8
