Sadly, it isn't. Because he hasn't gotten the reps and opportunity to throw the ball, he is not good in the pocket right now. They need to give him reps throwing the ball, for better or for worse.

The 2 QB system should be McCummings and Nebrich. Mac should be the backup QB.

He might not be good in the pocket, but McEntee is even worse. We know McEntee can't run or pass. We know McCummings can at least run. Maybe he can pass too. I think UConn's best shot at winning games is running the ball 45 times a game with McCombs and McCummings, and throwing the ball 15 times with McCummings.

I'm a big McCummings supporter and am ambivalent towards McEntee and Nebrich.

BUT, we worked best in the second half when both QB's were doing their thang. McCummings in the red zone was lethal but McEntee converted some second/third and longs that McCummings most likely doesn't convert.

Me and my liver are resigned to the fact that we're going with the two-headed QB the rest of the year. If Deleone calls the right plays and the players execute them we can be successful.
