I said the same thing then after watching the replay its evident he was one of the best players on the floor. He carried that team, seemingly with marginal talent. I think we tend to focus on our players so much during games, especially Tourney time, we don't appreciate opposing stars (the silent ones).Still didn't realize how good Leonard was going to be while watching that game. A testament to his hard work to become the player he is now.
Yes, true, and, notwithstanding the negative feelings on the BY about his poor handling of his departure, I'll always have good feelings about his contribution to NC3.Watched that game recently and another Husky who played very well was Alex O.
I don't remember exactly when, but at some point later in the '11 season Lamb had a light go on, and the guy just started becoming money on open shots, hitting seemingly every floater he took, and otherwise offering a second very dangerous scorer after Kemba.
D@mn. Just LOOK at those hands.

Hard work, and this guy: http://grantland.com/features/the-shot-doctor/

Wasn't the rumor that Oriakhi said something pretty nasty (about his mother, I think) to set Kawhi off? If it's true that he's never been T'd up in the NBA - and I'd bet it is - then that seems to lend some credence to that story. Great game.
Kemba was a beast in this game, he was also a beast the round before against Cincy.
SDSU was the best team we played in that NCAAT and Leonard clearly the best player (even though they had a lot of talent). Great find and a great memory.
