Why is the Big East expansion the only one playing out in public?

While the Big East 6 have probably not been sending new members a lot of warm and fuzzies, ESPN can absolutely NOT be trusted. McMurphy from CBS, along with every other news source, is not reporting anything like this.

ESPN is likely behind the CUSA/MWC alliance.

I am sure Katz has great sources. Unfortunately, ESPN's business side is dictating editorial policy.

I dont get it. you dont bitch about an extra 5 million in exit fees unless you know you are leaving. If you know you are leaving why work so hard to make a cross country conference. it all makes no sense.
