From one of Nan's news links.
When star senior Katie Lou Samuelson went down with a knee injury against Orange Lutheran on Monday, the Monarchs might have collectively held their breath, but in two games without her, they haven’t skipped a beat.

Couldn't find any other information but perhaps some of you with better contacts can.

Saw this from Clay Kallam at MaxPreps , dated yesterday (1/29)

Not sure if Clay is aware of any general info re: the injury, or if he is saying "knee issue" simply because there is no other info at all for the moment. My fingers (and toes) are crossed that it's nothing major....

OK here's a blurb from Jim's blog on Wednesday that makes me feel (somewhat) better:

"Samuelson had a season-low seven points in Mater Dei's win over Orange Lutheran on Monday and missed last night's game due to a knee injury although the injury is not supposed to be serious and the hope is she can return to the court later this week."

The word is she has a hyperextended knee and is scheduled to resume playing very soon. She was held out of yesterday's game more as a precaution than anything else.

Signee/Recruit thread has almost a dozen pages... quite a bit to check out. Too bad it can't be separated in to the individuals. Then I wouldn't have posted it again. Sorry for the duplication.

No reason to be sorry, just wanted everyone to know it's there along with other info. Thought maybe some weren't aware of it and, yes, it's quite lengthy now. It would be awfully hard to keep like six different threads for the recruits though, so I'm not sure of a better alternative.

Any news such as an injury to KLS probably deserves its own thread anyway.
