Does anyone know what happened to Kassoum Yakwe? He is seen using a knee scooter (pictured) in Kwintin’s Instagram story. Don’t recall seeing anything about an injury from him. Any insight would be appreciated.

Looks like a boot. Didnt he and someone else (I want to say polley) have ankle or foot injuries?

He's in a boot but I doubt it's serious or the press would have heard. I'm sure he will be fine by time season starts.

I used one of those things when I had bunion
surgery ( don’t do it)
Much better than crutches .
Love the boot also .
Usually when you progress to a boot the scooter is not as necessary at least I did.

Damn. Two down in the front court. Need the new, improved Eric Cobb to show us something. I don't want to see all stringbeans up front.
Cobb has the skill set. Hope he buys into Hurley's system because he could be a force for us.

A coworker had Bunyan surgery last year. She was out for a month and back at work but unable to walk around for 2 more weeks.

It took me six tries to get the correct spelling of bunion .
That spell checker either likes tall tales or is from Minnesota.
Actually I ended up with a bone fusion and a titanium pin.
I never went back for my left foot. I wear wide shoes instead.
My Dr said 4-5 weeks I was out of action for 10.

Was your doctor behind you checking for bunions in your photo?

Yakwe has an asterisk next to his name on the practice score sheet posted by JA on Instagram a few days ago. Which seemed to mean there was some injury preventing their score from counting fully.

It’s not too early to be concerned about our frontcourt and the early predictions of our conference position seem to make sense. No game changers were added to our roster which I do not blame Hurley for but it sure would have been nice. I don’t buy into the theory that great coaching is going to make up for the talent deficiencies that we have had and continue to have. What would Coach K be able to do with this roster?

So Yakwe injures a foot, Diarra tears a meniscus, and we were previously told that Polley and Whaley were nursing ankle sprains. All this from a few summer conditioning sessions. What happens when practice begins in earnest in October? Will the whole team disintegrate before our eyes? Will Hurley have even five healthy bodies to start the season? Maybe this is the year when Alterique is healthy and the other 12 players are sidelined for the season. If it comes down to Alterique and four walk-ons, I would predict Sweet 16, tops.
