His catch was special and really irritated some friends from the SEC.
Several excuses but, most prominently, the old "there was nothing for them to prove, having played a tough regular season schedule in the SEC, so they (South Carolina) took the game off".

SC got completely embarrassed because they didn't take UConn seriously. The only reasons they scored a touchdown at all was because we made and INT instead of batting away the pass which gave them good field position when we punted.

It was such a great game seeing our defense shutdown supposedly a superior SEC offense to our own.
