What would Breanna's stats be if she wasn't taken out of so many games because the other team was getting blown out?

Okay, so what you do is divide her total points for a season by the minutes played and then multiply by 40. That gets you a points per 40 minutes stat. Then, you can do that for Maya and D, too, and do it for rebounds, assists, blocks, and steals. That gives about as even as you can performance-wise without digging a lot deeper.

This is like arguing the Great Man theory of History - whether the time defines the person or the person defines the time. Stewie is obviously going to leave UConn as the most accomplished player in Husky history which still leaves the very subjective question of who was best able to take ownership of any specific moment in time; I'd lean to D and then Maya in that regard but it's largely a function of opportunity. The best argument for Stewie will probably end up being her frosh year when her late season surge had such an impact.

I just can't get passed picking the GOAT. She just has some kind of IT power for me. We haven't seen Breanna have to carry a team for two years and see what she has without the best team around her. Breanna may end up being unstoppable in the WNBA, but D already is. Throw Tina Charles in with those four and I have my starting team.
THIS. What Diana did in 2003 and 2004 is all you need to know about the GOAT. Maybe Stewie could do the same, but she just won't have to. Granted, lifting the team to the championship as a freshman is pretty damned impressive, especially since Diana could not.
