how often do recruits visit multiple times? do the guys that end up committing always visit more than once? ballpark anecdotal success rate for landing guys that have visited multiple times under hurley?

i'd love to have floyd and karaban locked in to help lure clingan across the finish line later this summer. then have all year to fill the 4th and maybe 5th schollys with another G or two.

Karaban's discrepancy in the rankings is one of the strongest I've seen. ESPN has him at #50 while 247 has him at #124
and rivals has him at #141. His composite was #56 within the past 9 months and is now #74 after crushing it in all his showcases from what I've seen.

Agreed and 50 makes a lot more sense. I could care less about rankings this year. Really want Karaban and Anglin.

(I love Karaban, no disrespect intended)

His list of schools is kinda of weak, wouldn't be surprised if that's influencing his rankings on those lower sites. His performances seem to indicate he's under ranked, but we also say that a lot when we're recruiting someone.

Still the status quo from what I hear

My hot take based on 0 evidence: we get a verbal commit on this second visit. We'l hear the announcement 3 days after so there's time to make the edit for instagram.
I stan this notion

His ranking will go up with more exposure at IMG next season. Rankings sites don't like to give guys big bumps unless they have an obvious NBA skill though. I doubt he ever gets to the 50 or better he deserves

Gotta keep in mind that a lot of sites haven’t updated their rankings since he dominated Pangos. That’s the kind of performance that could jump you 30-40 spots.
