Not a good sign.
Him getting on a flight is a bad sign? The combine doesn’t start until May 11 btw

He gonna workout and prep in Chicago through his agency which is in chicagoHim getting on a flight is a bad sign? The combine doesn’t start until May 11 btw
Off to the combine?
He can't call?He will be a bit early for the combine, allegedly his agents are in Chicago so I would bet this is likely him meeting with agents to go over options which is something we already knew he was gonna do
There is very very little call in the NBA for a non productive offensive player so if Giannis doesn't save his butt, AJax may very well be Euro bound.Oh, I don't think Doc will be around much longer tbh. But as long as he's in charge, I think Andre is riding pine.
John Fanta calls him a guard. Did he play the 4 for Texas Tech? Well I guess we're talking positionless basketball. He needs to be able to rebound and guard taller players though. If Darrion Williams from TT is a possibility he is better
Can't do everything from home. I have traveled to Chicago many times for meetings less important than Karaban deciding whether or not he wants to accept 1 million in NIL or go to the draftHe can't call?
I'm paying an agent, he better fly to meet me....or he'd be my former agent.Well meeting with his agent.
FWIW it seems like Stew is better at defending bigger 4s than quicker 3s. So maybe if AK leaves we prioritize a 3 to start and a bigger backup at the 4/5 spotJohn Fanta calls him a guard. As Williams is looking for his next destination, it's important to note that the Red Raiders look like a potential top-five team heading into next season with JT Toppin back and Washington State transfer LeJuan Watts committing over the weekend. Now, Williams has also entered the draft, and, like Luis, he has until June 16 to decide whether he's keeping his name in or not. The 6-6 guard is a multi-faceted wing who averaged 15.1 points, 5.5 rebounds and 3.6 assists per game while shooting 44% from the field. I think it's in Williams' best interest to capitalize on the money in college and stay at this level. Needless to say, he possesses upside as a two-way player who is not easy to defend because of his length.

You go to where the teams are. If you agent isn't where the teams are THEN you fire your agent.I'm paying an agent, he better fly to meet me....or he'd be my former agent.
TT played a three G lineup with Williams at PF, Toppin at C, and Federiko was their backup big.John Fanta calls him a guard. Did he play the 4 for Texas Tech?
You must meditate.Live your life and chase your dreams Alex, whatever that may be. I'm happy for you whatever you choose
I am also of the belief that you don't make irreversible decisions lightly. In high school this was tearing up the V-card. In college this was declaring professionalism before Senior year. Tennis works a little differently as there is no draft. But to the point, if he comes back for this year, he has left nothing on the table. If he goes NBA he left a year of eligibility die. NIL next year will be fine and won't go away if he's in the NBA anyway. There is very very little call in the NBA for a non productive offensive player so if Giannis doesn't save his butt, AJax may very well be Euro bound.
As far as AK is concerned - he deserves all the time ha can take but I'm not sure he is going to like what he hears from the NBA. I'm in the camp of getting the max in NIL he can fron UConn and enjoy the 25-26 season and hopefully get the 3rd ring to be the most decorated Husky to date. That would be one of the most significant feat.
What precisely can't you do "from home"? Talk -> phone, see each other -> zoom, share documents->email, Google doc etc., sign documents-> email and scanner. Can't do everything from home. From what I understand, he must declare for the NBA by April 26th if he wants to be part of the draft process. What is the timeline for a decision?
Is the option of entering draft to see where he stands with potential to pull out no longer available?
With new rules, seems every player has agent so not even sure that old rule applies.
Yeesh. Imagine growing up a Coward? With the transfer portal closing tomorrow and AK still not making a decision I'm looking at who is still out there who plays forward and is ranked in the top 100 or so transfer portal players and it's slim pickings at this point.
RJ Luis- NBA second round pick/2 way contract or return to college somewhere
Darrion Williams- NBA second round pick/2 way contract or return to college somewhere
Stojakovic- NBA second round pick/2 way contract or return to college somewhere
Jamir Watkins (Illinois, Kentucky, Louisville)
Baker-Mazara (Arkansas favored)
Derrion Reid (NC State, BYU, Florida, Oklahoma)
Cedric Coward (Florida, Duke, Kansas, Alabama)
Dillon Mitchell (St. John's visit)
Kennard Davis Jr (Iowa, Ole Miss, Miss State, ASU, Virginia Tech, Miamia, LSU, OSU)
Shake handsWhat precisely can't you do "from home"? Talk -> phone, see each other -> zoom, share documents->email, Google doc etc., sign documents-> email and scanner.
He can enter the draft and come back. But he just said this past Saturday that he doesn't want to test the waters. What is the timeline for a decision?

True. But a low return on investment. Costs-> Air fare, time, inconvenience of air travel, carfare, hotel, risk of losing luggage, meal costs.Shake hands
