Are the agents players use for NIL different than who they will use in the NBA?Ok with this. Predict he comes back. No signed agent
Hiring an agent forgoes your remaining eligibility. Deadline to withdraw is June 16thQ - how does he retain eligibiity? No agent? A deadline? TIA.
Yes, not hiring an agent. Then there’s a timeframe where you have to withdraw from the draft.Q - how does he retain eligibiity? No agent? A deadline? TIA.

This changed, there are certain agents you can hire and still return to college. They just have to be both NBA and NCAA certified I believe. Tristen Newton hired an agent last off-season when he declaredYes, not hiring an agent. Then there’s a timeframe where you have to withdraw from the draft.
Correct. And he already has that agent. From an interview at the parade:This changed, there are certain agents you can hire and still return to college. They just have to be both NBA and NCAA certified I believe. Tristen Newton hired an agent last off-season when he declared
That’s what I was thinking. He's gone. That's a long thank you note for just testing the waters.
I’d say it’s 60-40 that he leaves. But that’s just my optimistic opinionHe's gone. That's a long thank you note for just testing the waters.

Karaban is a smart kid who already has an agent. He'll listen to the right people. Do you think he wants to tell the NBA he isn't serious about the process and is just testing the waters? No. He should give it his all and tell the world he is doing that. In a couple months if it doesn't look good then he can announce he's coming back. Most of us expected he would do this. Why wouldn't he at least test the process? He's gone. That's a long thank you note for just testing the waters.
