I'm still peeved at that UHar prez for spending 3 years badmouthing UConn's academic record to anyone who put a mic in front of him. I'm pretty sure he thought it would lead to a cushy NCAA gig. Instead, Emmert fired him. Probably because no one likes a rat. And while he was doing his Javert thing to UConn, his own institution was in decline.
