Matt Buckler is the TV columnist for the JI. In yesterday's edition he says that Kara is leaving the radio broadcasts to be 'studio analyist' for the games on SNY. I assume that means she wouldn't be doing the color commentary. Wonder if they already have pegged the play-by-play guy/gal and color person?

Maybe Kara does halftime/postgame shows? How about getting some of the beat writers on those shows? How about some 'out of the box' chatters? For one....how about getting Jim Calhoun a time or two?

I would prefer Wolters doing color. Maybe Moore in the studio?

I also wish that she was doing color on the games. I think she's terrific. If she's the studio analyst I wonder if she'll be traveling to NY City to do the games.

Moore is going to China (like Big Bird) and I for one am waiting for her with open arms (figuratively, not literally).

What I hope is that someone actually CALLS the games. I am now used to Live Access, where often time someone actually calls the games and the mindless chatter is kept to a minimum.

Whats interesting is that many of the W games overlay radio calls with television pictures. Improves the focus because there's an assumption folks can't see for themselves...

Good for Kara. TV studio personality is a step up from radio. I'm happy for her.
