Barring a last-minute change of heart, source told ESPN that Michigan sophomore Kameron Chatman will transfer.

Not sure, but I'd pass - he's been pretty bad at Michigan and it's possible he was just overrated in high school. Wouldn't be surprised if he ends up at a mid-major type school closer to his home in Oregon.

The kid's arc has been downward - he saw his minutes cut in half on a very average Michigan team.

He looks like a Big West kind of transfer.

I'll pass. The numbers bother me less than it does that he didn't seem to get any better between his freshman and sophomore season. No sense in tying up a scholarship for a year hoping he develops into a role player.

As tcf said, I'm sure he's looking to move down a level.

I would imagine it was "Why are we offering a three star whose ceiling is probably the west coast conference?"

We gave him a look. I think that is a decent swing.

My reaction was "Wow this kid can't play at UConn." But stuff like this happens every year. Diamonds in the rough.
