Good Counsel lost the championship game, 67-66, to St. John's yesterday. Good Counsel's star guard, Lindsey Spann, scored a season-high 30 and is headed to Penn State. St. John's star guard, Lindsay Allen, is headed to Notre Dame. HG ranks her the #5 guard and #25 player in 2013. At 5'7" (maybe), she was the conference POY. She should be a good fit (ugh!), as she shot 16-16 on FTs last night.

I have seen Allen play once, and was not impressed... as you said she is small, and slightly built. I doubt she will have much impact as a freshman unless she gets much stronger .

I thought Spann was the better player, she is a true PG who can pass, and score. Spann is much stronger, but an inch or so shorter.

Allen looked pretty good at the U17 World's as starting pg and leading the tourney in assists and a/to ratio. In ND's system she'll make an impact.

I hope you are right, I think the college game is much more physical and her size will be a problem. ND will be thin in the backcourt next year , the starting PG is big question mark.
