Here's a video of him working out at UConn. I know he's worked out at UConn at least three times on the last two weeks.

What is it about UConn that draws in young players who shoot a push shot from their face/forehead?
First Drummond, now this kid?

What's the deal? Doesn't getting your shot blocked make you want to raise your release point?

Miami, Florida, Providence, Baylor, West Virginia, Pitt, Drexel, Kansas, among others. He doesn't have offers from all of them though.

I've seen this kid play before and honestly hes pretty good but not uconn good. Hes made it known that he wants to play for us but i dont think ollie will give him a scholarship nor should he. He is a D1 player but lower tier lets save our schollies for the big time players

Not overly impressed with his shooting but need to see him play in a game to see what he an really do.

I think Uconn will or will not take him depending on the circumstance...I think we are going to try and get some bigger names to fill our schollies, but if that doesn't happen, Beaufort will be offered.

He honestly wouldn't be a bad player to have for 4 years. Kinda like D.Bev type imo, maybe a little better.

Looks like he is a hard worker anyhow, has the athleticism now to dunk successfully most of the time (as a 6'1" high school junior!) has a decent handle and a decent jumper, even if the release point is a bit low. It is good to have some local kids on the roster as well, but I trust KO on the recruiting decision.

Have to be honest here...Beaufort just isn't a UConn caliber guy. He just isn't that good and also has major discipline problems (kicked out of school twice already). I'm all for the local products but this guy just isn't worth a scholarship IMO. All signs point to a less talented Wiggins and we all know how he turned out.

First thing I notice was the release point on his jumpers, and that he tends to lean into the longer ones. Very Calhounesque.

And he didn't seem able to get that orange kite very high.
