It’s January 3rd and the evidence doesn’t necessarily support the conclusion, but I’m of the opinion that Demary and Smith are the perfect combination to lead us to where we need to be at the PG position.
Demary is a reliable PG who can distribute and defend at a high level for 25-30 minutes per game. Smith is a high-energy guy off the bench who can penetrate and distribute at a high level for the remaining minutes. If Demary gets into foul trouble, we’ll be fine with Smith running the point.
We have plenty of scoring options at the other positions on the court so scoring from the PG position would be an added bonus.
