Total coaching incompetence. way too l0ng to get plays in. On the INT, we broke the huddle with 7 seconds on the play clock. One TE (left side)has no clue what play we are running, barely gets into his stance and then well, you know the rest. Diaco should have sprinting down the sideline calling the last time out. YEs, a bad throw but the lead up, including the blown time out on the previous possession was a factor. This is on Diaco

I've watched the game again too. Everything about UCONN football on complete display, good and bad yesterday. It is really heartbreaking to see how much passion these players are putting into it, and it will have me back. THey deserve it.

But playing the 50 players on offense thing, and rotating players and offensive systems, and the slowness in the play clock all season? End of game comes as no surprise.

Didn't HCBD mention some strange arrangement related to who actually calls the plays? Has to have some impact on this time delay issue. If the Head coach and/or offensive coordinator aren't actually calling plays what happens to the timing of calling plays when it's really important and the head coach and/or offensive coordinator want input on a particular play or sequence of plays?
This seems very basic and actually deciding on and calling the plays each play is very important and earlier in the year HCBD pooh hoohed the process as if it were just a very mechanical process that hardly needs his attention.
Coaches need to spend some time back at coaching 101.
