I'm tired of hearing how the Patriots don't have the talent to win and are simply getting all the calls. Like the Huskies, they have the talent to win. Good coaching goes a long way too.
First of all ????? Equating us with the Partiots?I'm tired of hearing how the Patriots don't have the talent to win and are simply getting all the calls. Like the Huskies, they have the talent to win. Good coaching goes a long way too.

I always said that the reason the Giants were so deadly against the Pats is that Coughlin is the only coach who doesn't let Belichick get into his head, he sticks to the gameplan and keeps the simple coaching decisions simple. Well all of that went out the window in the last 2 mins.First of all ????? Equating us with the Partiots?
It's more like we learned clock management from the Giants. Dummies could have won by running the clock down to 30 seconds and win with a 3. I was on the phone with my Boston area friend and predicted that if the Giant's didn't run the clock down to well under a minute, and had to settle for a FG with over a minute left, the Pats would win. The Jints didn't need a TD. They needed to run the Pats out of time. At least the second loss by the Giants through lousy clock management.
that first down incompletion from the 5 was the stupidest thing i've seen in a while. should've taken three knees.First of all ????? Equating us with the Partiots?

Who says the Patriots don't have talent???I'm tired of hearing how the Patriots don't have the talent to win and are simply getting all the calls. Like the Huskies, they have the talent to win. Good coaching goes a long way too.

fair argument but with three plays to score from the five, i still would've powered up and run the ball at least; giving up a clock stoppage was not smart. would've been moot if the giants got that pick on the first play of the pats drive.I disagree. The Pats had a time out and the 2 minute warning. This gives Brady the ball with about 1:10 down 2. I'd prefer he have to go the extra 35-40 yards with an extra 50 seconds and 1 TO, especially since it could be a 7 point game if they get the 2 point conversion. I've seen Belicheck let teams score to give Brady more time. The fact that they didn't want to do that makes me think going for the TD was the right move.
I heard this morning that the call from the sideline was a run but Eli changed it at the line.I agree that COUGHLIN is the one guy who doesn't let Belicheck get in his head. At least he hasn't until yesterday. There was no need to get 7 just run it down and take your 3 kick off and even Brady will have a tough time getting in position with 30 seconds and no time outs. But he was so scared of the Pats that he panicked. People always try to outsmart the Pats and end up outsmarting themselves.
What a strange thread.

think of where you are and who's here lol,arm chair nation! What a strange thread.
Having the best QB on the planet may help a little? Belichick was a bum in Cleveland.
lol seriously? first, he took the lowly browns to the playoffs in 94 and then had a bad record in 95 when modell decided to announce that the team was moving to baltimore in the middle of the season--awful position for BB to be in. Before that, well publicized as an incredible coordinator with the giants. Managed to win 11 games with Matt freakin Cassell...have you seen how he's done elsewhere?!? But you're right, Belichick is useless and just happens to have had his dead end career saved by his messiah QB.
Were you even born when he coached in Cleveland? One winning season out of 4. He's a HOF coach but it's always funny how coaches are geniuses when they have a top 5 all time QB's under center.
BB is great...but personnel matters
