Let's hope that we're at at least 5 wins come end of November so we can get payback for 1989 at home in the December cold from those Texans.

Why can't you get payback at 4 or 6 wins?

I'd like to propose a Bowl Game. Bryant vs SMU at the Yale Bowl.

It seems impossible but Bryant might have a better football team.

Talk about a stadium neglected and covered in bird sh----t.

Oh, don't go there. Lots of good memories of Yale bowl. I hope we could beat them silly still. After Stony Brook, they might schedule us again.

When you have certain posters on ignore, threads like this are hilarious.

All I see is Carl having a convo with himself.

Why the wish you were here pic? I like it but totally off 'the wall'

The Yale Bowl may be the greatest stadium ever built to urinate in.

Let's get back to the mustangs. Dickerson is a fool. Nothing would be better for college football, than SMU coming back. I think.

In the lowly world of message boards is there anyone worse than the people who constantly bring up who they have blocked? The only possible answer is the little circle
of losers who 'like' the constant references.

Perhaps posters with 10000+ posts who complain about other people's messages as if every one of theirs was gold?

Don't tell Butch. They ended the Great Depression by beating Army 4-2 there in 1938.

I have two of the bottle openers that they gave away to commemorate that affair. UConn played Torrington HS after that game as a part of a doubleheader. Pasqualoni and George DeLeone were grad assistants back then.

I needed a new heel for my shoe, so, I decided to go to Morganville, which is what they called Shelbyville in those days. So I tied an onion to my belt, which was the style at the time. Now, to take the ferry cost a nickel, and in those days, nickels had pictures of bumblebees on 'em. Give me five bees for a quarter, you'd say.

Now where were we? Oh yeah: the important thing was I had an onion on my belt, which was the style at the time...

You don't need the ignore feature for that. :)
