Just heard KO on 93.7

The hip hop community is generally very engaged with the NBA, but doesn't follow the NCAA too closely. The DJ's at 93.7 have been following UConn for this run, but I wouldn't say they are big fans.

However, having KO on there, being super gracious and friendly with the DJ's... it's gotta be good promotion. We need all the fans we can get in Connecticut.

They also advertised a contest to have your kid get sent to the KO Basketball Camp this summer. Pretty cool.

Glad to see this kind of outreach going on.

Good. Are recruits gonna care more about someone who relates to them or whether or not a writer in the NY Post likes our coach? We're not recruiting 50 year old conservative dudes.
