Mens basketball 0-11 after tonight.
No money to fire HC Donyell Marshall, so he'll be back next season.
Women's basketball 0-10.
AD bounced for UCMB two weeks ago and the president of the University said she couldn't fault the guy because it was a great growth opportunity. Guess that tells you how much she supports CCSU sports. Even with football having their best season ever, I'd be worried.
It's a sad state of affairs over in New Britain.

Hate that Donyell is going through this.

He is one of the all time UConn greats. He was unstoppable his junior year. Averaged 25 & 9 a game. AA and BE player and defensive player of the year the same year. That 93-94 team was loaded with talent.
I think he gets somewhat forgotten because he wasn’t as flashy as some UConn players were and the fact that his pro career was nothing special. I think I even forgot to list him in another thread about the top 5 or starting 5.

To me, he is a top 5 all time Husky.

As an nb resident- I remember when rick mickens and corsley edwards(last pick in 01 draft?) led central to a tourney birth in the 2 vs 15 game against Iowa st jamaal tinsley and Marcus fizer - they hung for a while but lost. This was maybe in like 2001-2002?

Coaches aren't the reason why teams shoot 36% from the floor. That's good for 344th out of 353rd in the NCAA.

7 of their 8 top minutes guys are freshmen and their best player, Ian Krishnan, is a sophomore and hasn't yet played this year.

Donyell missed those free throws, but overall he was a tremendous player for UConn. He would have stretches where he would absolutely take over a game with a blocked shot, 3 pointer, rebound and dunk all within a minute or two.
