In looking at tonight's box score, I see that Stewie was 2nd behind Morgan in points. She was only 5th in rebounding, behind Kiah, Kaleena, Gabby, and Morgan. But she led the team in assists. She's Ms. Versatility.
As several have noted, Morgan and Stewie work really, really well together.
Some surprises on the season, at least for me:
Kia Nurse is 4th in scoring and, at .491, barely trails the great Kaleena Lewis in 3-point shooting.
Morgan is 2nd in scoring at 14.8 ppg and shooting .586.
Of our top 7 players/scorers the one with the lowest shooting percentage--a very strong .514--is, incredibly, Kaleena. Gabby leads at .617.
Did anyone really think that Kia and Morgan would combine for 27.6 ppg? I had high hopes and expectations for both, but I would have guessed 16-20 ppg.
