2026 Recruiting: Junior County

I'm sure Hurley is being up front with Junior. Right now on our 26-27 roster, we have two star senior guards. If there are NBA aspirations there, we've taken anywhere from 1 to 3 upperclassmen transfer PGs for each of the last 3 offseasons. We're very actively and publicly recruiting a 5* freshman PG that would play as a PG-SF because the backcourt is so loaded already. There's a 22 year old international PG on the roster right now that I think has 2 years of eligibility?

Minutes in year 1 will be VERY difficult. If that's cool and you're willing to wait until year 2 to start getting consistent minutes, welcome and let's get it! If not, can't blame a top 30 player for wanting minutes right away and I hope he finds it somewhere

What does Mingo have left for visits???
He hasn't really said. He's been to Washington, Miami, UConn and Alabama. Supposedly visiting Penn State this weekend (his brother is there). North Carolina, Oklahoma, Virginia, Baylor, NC State, and others (?) are still involved according to On3.

Still can’t wrap my head around the idea that someone named Junior County isn’t a center. Shouldn’t that be a big man’s name?

I don't know, counties are pretty big. Who do you think would be bigger, Junior County or Senior Village?

I think the only other visit expected to be competition is NC State. Yeah, them again. We're going up against them in 3 different recruitments right now. Will Wade is certainly a dude.
