How many spots are open for 26’? Because of the transfer situation with big names in the spring some of these freshman want to commit early to get a spot?

*= gone or likely gone after the season

2025
Demary / Smith*
Ball / Furphy
Mullins* / Ross
Karaban* / Stew
Reed* / Reibe

2026
Demary* / County
Ball* / Furphy
??? / Ross*
Stew* / ???
Reibe / ???

So if Hurley sticks to a 9 or 10 man rotation then hopefully only need 2 or 3 more rotational players for 2026

Has the DNA Dan is looking for. Great Program fit. Has a smooth game -BBIQ- two way player. SnC will help build some strength and explosion. Based on the tape I saw- Ball doesn't stay in his hands very long-Keeps it moving and shares it with teammates in their spots.

Reading tea leaves but seems like Mingo's emoji of crossing fingers pre-announcement has a positive vibe to it.
A County/Mingo combo would be so sexy.

A very much dig County’s versatile big guard profile. Reading up on him, he checks a lot of boxes on both ends of the floor and would have probably have been a five-star recruit if his three-point stroke was above average, but that can improve with reps and development.

Love the size/BBIQ/motor/character mix too.

Nice I haven't seen many posts on the BY about this kid. It has been mostly Toure, Landrew, Samuels, Cloer, and Mingo. How good is this kid compared to the others? Is he more coming in like Stewart or someone higher who could leave after a couple years? Ok reading a thread on him he seems more like Ross than even Stewart. So I guess more bench depth who could develop and not a huge get? I know different positions but talking about level of impact for uconn. Well still a nice add. Hopefully we can get one of the big boys we are recruiting too.
No, he's a huge get. Definitely not anywhere close to Ross, and not even really close to Stewart either. He's a top 30 recruit

4 open scholarships, plus the assumed Mullins early entry to the NBA. And safe to assume another 2-3 spots open up after the season with transfers or surprise NBA departures

Sounds like potential new love interest for HW611??

Nice.

When he gets fouled and heads to the charity stripe, we can say he's headed to the County line.

Okay, where's the door. I'll see myself out.
Can we call him Tolland County ?

I initially thought 4 but I actually think it’s 5.

AK
Tarris
Malachi
Koroma
Millender

All out of eligibility. Then you have 3 guys who could potentially go early to the league in Braylon, Solo, and Silas.

I’d venture to guess we end up with 7-8 spots available.

Great news! He looks very versatile. If he can defend and can get that three point shot locked in he will be a nice piece for the Huskies. Welcome aboard!

It was 5, but County committed today

This is the mixtape Williams was given a scholarship offer based on. I'm not sure he'd even get a walk-on offer at this point for us.

Looks to me like he beat Angel Reese to the me-bounds gig.

Even non continuation fouls made the clip lol

Out of 15 or 12? Hurley just reaffirmed he can only effectively coach 12 scholarship guys or something like that didn’t he. And of the 12 only 9 are rotational players
