I don't understand the NET...

UConn won and moved up 5....FSU demolished #7 Virginia and did not move at all.

Penn State is 7-10 and is # 28 (but has 9 quality losses)

Colgate is #11 and hasn't played a Q1 game.

We were 38th entering the Marquette game where Bouk got hurt...so I think you have to give the guys a pat on the back for treading water during his absence. We peaked at 21 for the St. John's loss so our work is certainly cut out for us.

A competitive game vs Nova and wins the rest of the way will have us sitting pretty heading into the BET. While beating Nova is not out of the question, they are a step above us -- I'm more curious about what we look like full strength vs Hall, who is currently ranked 33rd to our 34th.

I'd also like to know what makes Houston so highly regarded. They are 17-2 with losses to East Carolina and Tulsa. They have wins against Texas Tech and Wichita St. They haven't played Memphis, Cinci, or a 2nd meeting with Wichita St. Wins 2 each vs Tulane, UCF, SMU, Temple, a split w Tulsa, and other big wins vs Boise St, Alcorn St, South Fl, South Carolina, Lamar, and Lady of the Lakes!!! How is this impressive?

Nova is a step up in what they’ve proven, certainly not in talent, athleticism or potential

We're a few point underdogs at Villanova (#11) and at Seton Hall (#33). Comfortable favorites at home against GTown (#95) and Marquette (#87). Couple point favorites on the road at Gtown (#95).

Call me giddy because we got the gang back together but I predicted we win 3 in a row as long as we got Bouk back for prov (Xavier, Prov, nova). I have a great feeling we win Saturday and get back into top 25, then as long as we take care of business in the last 4 (acceptable loss at hall, or win at hall and lose at Gtown), we will climb up to a 6-7 seed I hope.

100%. I will not expect a win but I certainly won't be surprised one bit if we took them down now that we're full strength. I do expect a win vs Hall on the other hand at full strength...just trying to manage expectations out here...
