NET is useless this year. Colgate is at #11 and they've only played Army, BU, Holy CrossOur NET ranking moved up 5 places to 54 . . . but we need to be higher than that. In early January, we were as high as 18.
I can't believe this isn't be discussed more. The NET shouldn't be used as the primary tool this year.NET is useless this year. Colgate is at #11 and they've only played Army, BU, Holy Cross

I don't understand the NET...
UConn won and moved up 5....FSU demolished #7 Virginia and did not move at all.
Penn State is 7-10 and is # 28 (but has 9 quality losses)
Colgate is #11 and hasn't played a Q1 game.
Annihilations carry more weight than demolitionsI don't understand the NET...

Nova is a step up in what they’ve proven, certainly not in talent, athleticism or potentialWe were 38th entering the Marquette game where Bouk got hurt...so I think you have to give the guys a pat on the back for treading water during his absence. We peaked at 21 for the St. John's loss so our work is certainly cut out for us.
A competitive game vs Nova and wins the rest of the way will have us sitting pretty heading into the BET. While beating Nova is not out of the question, they are a step above us -- I'm more curious about what we look like full strength vs Hall, who is currently ranked 33rd to our 34th.
Dreaming of a tourney without Dook, UNC, Kentucky and Mich St.........Whatever metric or ranking is Duke's highest is what they will base it on this year.
The FLA St game was on Monday. They went from 25 to 16.I don't understand the NET...

Maybe my friend @HeGotGame ??Anyone have an updated view of our upcoming games from kenpom after our win yesterday?
We're a few point underdogs at Villanova (#11) and at Seton Hall (#33). Comfortable favorites at home against GTown (#95) and Marquette (#87). Couple point favorites on the road at Gtown (#95).Anyone have an updated view of our upcoming games from kenpom after our win yesterday?

100%. I will not expect a win but I certainly won't be surprised one bit if we took them down now that we're full strength. I do expect a win vs Hall on the other hand at full strength...just trying to manage expectations out here...Nova is a step up in what they’ve proven, certainly not in talent, athleticism or potential
