Obviously, they have problems at UNC. That doesn't mean everybody that went there cheated.

So Julius Peppers has released a statement declaring that he was never given a bad grade, he went out and earned them.

"In hindsight, I am pleased with my undergraduate experience. UNC gave me the exposure and foundation I needed to follow my dream, which ultimately led to my chosen career path. Isn't that what college is supposed to be for?" ~ Julius Peppers

A few months after he left North Carolina, he was suspended by the NFL for a banned substance. I guess North Carolina did indeed provide him with a foundation.

Had this been another school, the NCAA would have put some white people with expense accounts on a private jet and jetted right out there with serious looks on their faces.

What's the big deal about showing grades? Everyone's grades should be available so that it holds the prof's feet to the fire as far as why each person got the grade assigned. As far as it meaning everyone cheated, don't think anyone has said that, but UNC will probably be determining that someone(or more than one) did cheat. If you are an athlete going to a school that allows academic fraud for athletes, think you as the star athlete at the school would NOT know this was going on? You with a barely passing GPA, none of the cheaters would say "hey man, got a way for you to boost the ol' GPA, want in"?

Instead, UNC assumed the role of Thornton Melon and the NCAA assumed the role of Dean Martin when Thornton was asked if he did his own work.
