Is JuJu Truly considering USC or is it a hometown prestige top 3 when in reality she knows its either stanford or SC ? No way i see her going to USC and truly considering a national championship being a priority in the next 4 years lol . If she goes to SC its over , if she chooses Stanford we now he a competitive landscape in the future of WCBB with SC's future classes looking stealth and Stanford continously rotating prolific professional players . Iowa can enjoy these next 2 years of lime light because they will drop off the face of earth once clark retires. What happened with JuJu in Uconn ? Did she not even attempt to listen to CD or Geno's pitch ?

The Nike endorsement does not bother me in terms of South Carolina. I would think she could still wear UA shoes when playing for her team but rep Nike on her own time. Destanni Henderson did the same with Reebok. It would seem to be illegal for Nike to make her sign a deal saying she will only wear Nike shoes when she plays bc that would force her to choose a Nike school. That would be against NCAA regulations I would think.
Your handle made me laugh. Well done.

I am predicting JuJu to Stanford. I think she's a winner no matter where she goes but she is a west coast player with family and friends in that sector. South Carolina would be my second choice and if it's So. Cal......it's all about the attention and less about winning....we'll see today I guess....

Top notch education playing for a legendary coach with an elite program. How could someone pass that up?

Am I right in thinking Dawn hasn't Tweeted about a birdie lately? Maybe she genuinely doesn't know with Juju, but that's an interesting thing to note, here...

She only does it with permission of recruit. She did not do a birdie for Chloe Kitt’s or Fulwiley this year

She tweeted that she was bird watching for Fulwiley though.

I. Think she is still building her brand with her Stanford /SCar flirtation but stays home to play for Southern Cal where she has (probably) been told she will start on day one. There, she will be THE star from day one and get exposure in one of the largest sports markets in the world.

But, if she wants the national exposure of competing for championships for 3/4 years, she goes to Stan/Scar where she may not start her first year.

Stanford is closer to home and has the academics( which would sway me). SCar can get her more TV eyeballs in building her brand. Plus, she may want to play in front of huge home crowds that the other two don’t offer.

Still, I would bet on the home team if I had to bet. Southern Call alumni network offers a great opportunity for future earnings if basketball doesn’t prove to be the golden calf of her future due to injuries or whatever.

I wonder when she’ll make her decision? Early next week it is said. Anybody know where the ESPN crews will be Monday/Tuesday?
As said: . . .

This will be a good test of her star power - with an average attendance of gulp 740 fans at USC home games last season, Juju will have plenty of opportunity to grow the fanbase...

I’m sure that number will grow. USC just captured lightning in a bottle, they need to capitalize on this and market the heck out of Juju. I’m not sure if this will inspire more top recruits to look at USC, but I can’t see why it wouldn’t. USC has the tradition, location, etc. to be a player in WBB, now we get to see if they can recommit to the sport.

I actually love Juju’s decision. I obviously would’ve loved it more at SC, but if any fanbase understands the importance of “staying home” it’s Gamecock fans. We’ve had our star athlete stay home in A’ja. And another this year in Fulwiley. Hopefully another next year in Edwards.

Congrats to Juju and USC.

They do have last year's #8 recruit Aaliyah Gayles, who is red shirting this season to fully recover from the effects of getting shot. So if she is able to make a full recovery that's a good duo for USC.

Playing in the Big 10 gets nationwide coverage on TV. Has the ability to grow her brand.
