Amaker is the hot name, though that'd be a mistake.

Hiring Ewing sounds crazy to me. They need a coach, not some legend who was out of the NBA when current recruits were in diapers.

Patrick Ewing makes a lot of sense if they can surround him with the right recruiters/assistants. Got to get that Georgetown mystique back.
King Rice if they want to go to a guy who's got high upside. Worth noting he just backed out of the Duquesne job.
IMO they missed the boat on the ideal replacements – Keatts and Wade.
Coffee's for closers. Sounds like Patrick isn't oneHe's been coaching in the NBA since 2002 and has interviewed for head jobs.

Not NYC – upstate. Played for UNC in the late 80s/early 90s.King Rice? Does that name sound familiar because it should? Foggy memory of a NYC PG legend?

I think he's a really good coach, and is lowkey the guy I kind of expect to replace Boeheim.
Been an assistant in the league for a long time and my guess is he would make it big man U again, they could certainly do worse.Hiring Ewing sounds crazy to me. They need a coach, not some legend who was out of the NBA when current recruits were in diapers.
