At the present time there is a team from the Northeast playing on FS1 against a team from the West. There are two girls from Connecticut playing on the Northeast team. There are teams from Africa & the Middle East, Asia Pacific, Canada, China, Europe, India, Mexico and South America. Pool play is going now. It's interesting.

I gotta say, they look fairly advanced skill wise for their age. I'm impressed.

Looked like the NE was dead in the water, down 15 well into the 4th quarter. Now they've cut it to 5 w/ 1 minute left. They've been cold but all of a sudden are hitting 3's. They've forced a ton of TOs throughout the game.

Hannah Stines from the West team was the standout to my eye. Have to keep track of her and see how she develops.

54-46 West 2/ 7 seconds left.

Southeast vs. Northwest on FS1 currently. UConn alum and NW native Donny Marshall is on the broadcast team.

NW was shooting lights out early and was up 8 in the first quarter. Been all SE since, up 11 midway thru Q3.

UW coach Wynn's daughter is on the NW team. Coach got a little face time doing an interview during the broadcast.

Did you see where a 14 year old 6'2" girl dunked the ball? It was a real one handed stuff. It is all over the internet.

Yeah they kept talking about it during the game. Impressive athlete. She was close to double figures in blocked shots during this game.

Central Michigan comes back from 5 down late in the game with a barrage of 3 pt shots (One of them so high, I thought it would not come down). and beats
Mid Atlantic 45-41. Before the barrage, CM was like 1-21 from 3pt. Amazing after their comeback win over tournament favorite South East. Also helping in the win was suffocating ball defense on Mid Atlantic top player Kiki Rice stripping her at least 2 times in the last minute.

Tomorrow at 3, they play International Champion Europe. I do not expect it to be close.
