Unfortunately it was in the background of an international incident, I guess JR Smith isn't the only crazy one in the family.

OK maybe she's crazy, but I'm going to take her side: her brother and Booney were playing the same team that had that brawl against Gtown.

Bayi Rockets, aka, team Chairman Mao!

p.s. What's going on with Smith? I thought he was a legit player just a few years ago.

The Chinese Basketball Association made it so that if you signed a contract with their teams, you weren't allowed an out clause to go back to the NBA if the lockout ended like alot of the Euro teams. So Smith is pretty much stuck there until their season is over in March. Kenyon Martin got bought out of his deal over and is back in the US but he can't sign with an NBA team until the CBA season is over. Even though he's a headcase I'd imagine there will be a bunch of teams looking to sign him for the playoffs once he comes back.

Yeah JR Smith is very talented. His production will never match the talent but he will be a highly-sought-after FA once he's eligible.

Apparently Hilton Armstrong is dealing with the same thing over in France which is why he couldn't sign with the Clippers this season even though he worked out with them.

Josh Boone hasn't looked happy since 2004. Too bad, he was a big part of the '04 Championship team.

Josh Boone became full of himself after 2004 and never really improved his game. As far as I could tell, he was the ringleader among guys on that 2006 squad who mentally checked out and were already thinking about the next level.

After becoming a fan favorite as a freshman, he should have gone down as one of the most beloved Huskies of all time. Instead, he became a disappointment and the symbol of a missed opportunity to win another title.

I don't know about the "full of himself" part, but he really didn't improve much (if at all) after his freshman year. He seemed to lose any passion he had for the game.

Eh, you could be right. "Complacent" is really more what I was going for, whether that was borne of an inflated ego or just an indifferent work ethic.

What a nice, wonderful young lady she must be. Stay classy, pretty girl.

Boone was actually pretty good in 04-05 as well. He had a solid sophomore season but a disappointing junior year from what I remember.
