Considering Memphis and UConn, two of the conferences premier programs are both down, that's a solid showing for the AAC. For now. Clearly those 2 schools need to get it together and you'll see them basically at the P6 (in basketball) level.

That would help.

ECU and USF not being sub-250 schools would help. But even down, UConn's RPI is decent, and Memphis's isn't terrible. According to ESPN's RPI
