I thought i read seven, west coast time, and it is not uconn

Read that he will be choosing on Tuesday instead. Don't read into that either. I don't think that means anything.

From what this board is saying, we will whiff on Bell and Austin correct?

I think we miss on both due to who we have coming back and no contract for Ollie and that is okay. 2014 is the big year!

Definitely no Bell. Austin is a toss up right now between UConn and Providence.

It's really hard to get noticed when everyone is too busy staring at the court itself. Oh well, to each his own.

I want a big center. Where did they all go? lol

Right know UCONN is a blue chip stock on the cheap. Recruits are afraid to pull the trigger thinking it can go lower. Instead if they commit to UCONN and look back in 3 years they would have a wonderful return.

Who in their right mind chooses Oregon Basketball over UConn Basketball?

With the scrutiny over academics and APR hanging over the program, we probably don't want a kid that would make this decision.

I'm a realistic fan, I 'get it' when someone may choose an Illinois, St. John's, NC State over UConn...but Oregon? What??

Good athlete and shot blocker but the dude averages 8 pts per game - of course Jake averaged 10 pts in HS and made the NBA.

The reason he is not coming to UConn is because he hasn't not taken the SAT, and the staff canceled his visit. Not the other way around

Yes, our admissions standards are going way up under Warde M. I hope he's not trying to turn us into a northeast Duke

Last person to chose Oregon over UConn lasted 4 games I think.

this is a mix between apr black eye and nate miles recruiting issues. there is a new sheriff in town

Who was that? Last one I could think of was Malik Hairston out of Detroit in 2004. UConn recruited him but I'm not sure they were even in his final list. He was rated in the top 10-15 range and didn't do much at Oregon. Last seen playing somewhere overseas.

And by the way both UConn guys rated in the top 30 in that class (Rudy and A.J.) are both in the NBA.

Did not realize that. I stand corrected!
