Can you see it??Andre Jackson and "point" in the same sentence. It's about to go down...

Did he say Hawkins and Jackson are both 6-6?
"UConn as a whole, is a significantly better shooting team than it was last season. The question is, how good will the Huskies be defensively and on the glass?"
i think he went on to answer himself:
"Early prediction on UConn's 22-23 starting five: Tristen Newton, Jordan Hawkins, Andre Jackson, Samson Johnson, Adama Sanogo"
samson is our best shot blocking and rebounding option at PF. in particular i'm not worried about rebounding at all w/ aj, samson and sanogo in the lineup.
Not exactly a surprise as he pretty much was a point forward last year.Andre Jackson and "point" in the same sentence. It's about to go down...

Jackson was lock down for most of last year and Hawk made huge leaps defensively at the end of the season. With the addition of Diarra and Newton’s size, I’ll take our chances."UConn as a whole, is a significantly better shooting team than it was last season. samson is our best shot blocking and rebounding option at PF. if anything i'm only concerned about our backcourt's perimeter D.
based on his highschool tape, his 7'5 wingspan, and being 4" taller than karabanBased on what? The 5 minutes he played last year?

An assertive hawk and a Dre with one or two more offensive tricks in his bag would go a long wayI'm rooting this to be the starting lineup; hoping that lineup shoots well enough to avoid those early game droughts that have plagued us in the past...then bringing Alleyne and Karaban in as shooters off the bench can give us that additional spark. On the surface, I'm excited for our quality depth this year.
Jackson was good, but certainly not lock down. He stretched his defense too far out very often, and got driven by a lot because of this.Jackson was lock down for most of last year and Hawk made huge leaps defensively at the end of the season. He was a lock down defender. He was statistically one of the best defenders in the whole Big East last yearJackson was good, but certainly not lock down. He stretched his defense too far out very often, and got driven by a lot because of this.
