Page 50 this week. Article on George Whitfield and his QB training. Landry Jones and Johnny Mac are the 'case study'.

Yeah. The instructor should totally be in a wheelchair.

is this Johnny preparing for the pro day or before last season?

Is johnny seriously trying to play at the next level? No disrespect, I just never expected that.

Guess so. Either that or he is looking to become a Trick-Shot Ninja.

Maybe he's looking to get into coaching / wants to stay in the game. Seems like a good kid / smart kid. I hope he does really well.

what's he have to lose? why not take advantage of the experience if it's available?

Hell, he's got a lot of experience sitting in the pocket and getting tee'd off on. He could start for the Eagles.

I agree completely. He's a great kid, why not give it a try? Literally has nothing to lose... Remember Gary Wilburn? Guy was on an NFL team for a few months and literally had no production in college. Johnny came in and won a ball game for us vs Louisville in OT.

Great video. Best of luck to Johnny Mac. One of the quintessential Huskies. We will miss him and his dedication.

You follow the dream as far as it will take you. Johnny is the type of kid that could have a future in coaching and if not he'll be successful at whatever else he takes on. In his time at UConn with the 2 coaching staffs, and all the QB changes Lorenzen, Endres/Frazer/Box, Nebrich/McCummings/, Whitmer/McCummings/Cochran, he got quite an education that he could apply in the future.

After reading the SI article, George Whitfield will be in high demand. Coach P. should explore getting him to Storrs in August to tutor the QBs. (of hire J.Mac as an assistant after having been put through the hoops by Whitfield).

or maybe a Ninja Warrior appearance....who can say?

Seriously, I wish JMac the best. He was limited but he gave it his all.
