I get it.

His daddy is rich. Johnny is famous. He can do as he pleases and has the world at his finger tips. I would be doing about 98% of the stuff he is doing if I was in the same situation.

But, there's some character stuff that he's doing, that is going to hurt him financially.

Skipping out on a commitment to the Mannings' football camp is a very dumb decision that will have financial implications come draft time.

Confronted by the staff early Saturday afternoon, Manziel said he wasn't feeling well and had to miss the Saturday session. Even if that were true, the staff wasn't pleased that Manziel never called and left the coaches short-handed. It was then that someone -- Archie, by some reports -- told Manziel it would be best for everyone if he went home.

Clearly the first story was true and he was hung over. He cared so little about selling the sick story he was out Saturday night.

Kid is going to have a great few years of college and piss tens of millions down the drain.

If he does nothing more and is successful he shouldn't be Hurt too bad. If he can perform while partying all the power to him. If it leads to selling drugs or robbi g stores or hitting a police officer he will still get drafted by the raiders

Let's be fair. He isn't getting arrested for drugs or carrying weapons. Sure he might regret some of his decisions down the road, but don't we all? The amount of drinking and partying he's doing probably pales in comparison to what 80% of us did in college, we just didn't have twitter or a camera in our face.

I wasn't risking an 8 figure contract screwing around.

First off, neither is he as I have yet to see a player's draft stock drop for something as trivial as going to a bar during the summer. Secondly, how do you know you didn't? Who knows how much you'd be making if you made better use of your time.

Personally, I think Manziel seems like a tool, and I've thought that from day one, but he hasn't really done anything that wrong and people make it like he's the next Lawrence Phillips

Oh he most certainly is. Maturity is a huge variable for an NFL franchise to select a quarterback to build around.

Also, why he is screwing around - the Clowneys of the world are sharpening their teeth.

He's not a bad kid - he's just an immature one who is making bad decisions.
