I had a delightful phone visit with Mel about a week ago -- and there is a little (well, it's really pretty BIG) news about Mel that John A. missed.
While working as the Director of Basketball Operations at Florida Gulf Coast University, Mel has also been doing some work in the classroom. She has finished her MBA program, and now has an MBA degree. It won't surprise me if she is the Head of USA Basketball or maybe the WNBA in about ten years.
WAY TO GO MEL !!! The Boneyard will always be cheering for you.
